This category features collectible writing instruments inclusive of fountain, ballpoint and rollerball pens from the major manufacturers, notably Montblanc, Montegrappa, Omas, Visconti and S.T. Dupont, as well as the highly sought-after Namiki Make-e pens from the 1930s. Limited edition pens are typically offered uninked and complete with their original packaging. The sales will also include collectible vintage pens from pioneer manufacturers such as Parker and Waterman, as well as fine pens from the luxury brands, particularly Cartier and Dunhill. Writing accessories such as inkwells and writing cases will also be offered in these sales.
The department will also extend the same uncompromising approach to quality, transparency and client service that it provides to its clients participating in the pen auctions, through a private treaty program, with physical and digital viewing rooms that will offer a highly curated selection of fine pens sold at fixed prices.
