Zenith SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker started by Georges Favre-Jacot at the age of 22, in Le Locle in the canton of Neuchâtel in 1865. Zenith was purchased by LVMH in November 1999, becoming one of several brands in its watch and jewelry division which include TAG Heuer and Hublot.

Famous for the El Primero calibre, the first high-frequency automatic chronograph movement unveiled in 1969, Zenith Watches became emblematic in the watchmaking frontier for its technical innovations. This calibre resurrected in 1986 using the same tools, plans, and components, was later used by Rolex in the Daytona chronograph from 1988 to 2000.

Featuring in-house movements for their watches, Zenith boasts more than 2,333 chronometry prizes and over 600 movement variations in just over a century and a half of its existence.
