Born in Pune India in 1939, Munira’s family was a large merchant family of Saudi/Kuwaiti origin. She studied at London's Central School of Art and Design 1959-61 and exhibited at the Bear Lane Gallery, Oxford in 1959 and 1960, with the Arab Artists Group, London in 1962 and at the New Vision Centre, London in 1963. She is better known for her abstract works.
