(b. 1958) Born in 1958, Kishor Shinde is one of India's prominent Abstract painter. He completed his degree in art at the MS University, Baroda. He received the National Award for Painting in 1998 and the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi Award in 1978 among other recognitions and awards. He has held numerous solo exhibitions of his work and participated in several group exhibitions in leading galleries in Germany, India, Singapore, and Asia. His works are part of the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi, and several private collections.
