LOT ESSAY
Introduced in 2007, the RM011 is a symbolic model for Richard Mille and has been crucial to the brand's development and identity. Notable for its silhouette and design, this model serves as a versatile companion for all occasions, from everyday use to the racing field.
Equipt with a caliber RMAC3 with 55 hours of power reserve, the watch features the date and month with a flyback chronograph function along with the hours, minutes, and small seconds. The base plate and bridges of the movement are in grade 5 titanium which offers extreme durability, same with the variable-geometry rotor that contributes to its efficient winding.
The case is Richard Mille's very own three-part tonneau case, one of their most recognized silhouettes. This shape, which first appeared with the RM 27-01 Rafael Nadal, has become a distinguishing characteristic of all their sports watches, differentiating them from lifestyle models while reinforcing their structural integrity. Skillfully forged in carbon fiber, the entire finishing of the watch - chamfering, brushing, and polishing is delicately done by hand, exhibiting the excellent watchmaking technology of the brand.
