(1935 - 1992)
Born in 1935 in the Wardha district of Maharashtra, B. Vithal studied at the Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai. It was here that he met his wife and fellow artist, B. Prabha. They were married in 1956, and exhibited their works jointly on numerous occasions. In addition to his drawings and paintings, B. Vithal created several sculptures. The artist passed away in 1992.
